description Westville Lake is situated on the Quinebaug River in the towns of Southbridge and Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Westville offers a variety of hiking opportunities, group picnic shelters, a picnic cove, a large recreation field, canoe/kayak launches, and much more.
drivingDirection Westville Lake can be accessed from Wallace Road in Sturbridge, which is located directly off of Main St. The Dam and Recreation area can also be accessed from West St in Southbridge by taking a right onto South St. The physical address for the Westville Lake Recreation Area is 125 Wallace Road.
facilitiesDescription There are two large picnic shelters with electricity hook-ups, picnic tables, and grills available for use in the recreation area. There is a large picnic cove with many picnic tables and grills. There are also flush toilets, drinking water, and hiking trails available throughout the park.

importantInformation No kiddie pools. Alcohol is allowed but kegs are not. Inflatable structures are not permitted. Bounce houses, climbing walls, swimming pools and other outside amusements of this type or similar are prohibited. No portable generators are allowed. Any special requests will be granted at the discretion of the project manager. Check-In time is 8:00 A.M. Check-Out Time is a 1/2 hour before the park closes: - Third Saturday in May - July 15, 2016: Park closes at 8:00 p.m.; Shelter/Pavilion user reservation ends at 7:30 p.m. - July 16-August 13, 2016: Park closes at 7:30 p.m.; Shelter/Pavilion user reservation ends at 7:00 p.m. - August 14-Labor Day: Park closes at 7:00 p.m.; Shelter/Pavilion user reservation ends at 6:30 p.m. Pets are welcome but must be on a 6 foot leash. Trash is "carry-in, carry-out." No staples or nails allowed in tables, pavilion supports, or trees; balloons are only allowed to be tied to the picnic shelter, not to trees or any other items in park.
